As-salaam ‘alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuhu

Dear Parent:

Thank you for expressing an interest in our Quran provision for children.  Our programme is designed to teach children how to recite the Quran with correct pronunciation (Tajweed) .  Our teachers have many years’ teaching experience and they are also DBS cleared to work with children unsupervised.

To enrol your children on to our Quran provision you must ensure the following:

  • They are minimum 6 years old
  • You complete a registration form by clicking Do it online tab in the website.

Quran Class Rules and Regulations

  1. Respect the Sheikh/Imam, teachers, and staff AT ALL TIMES.
  2. When you enter the classroom, please knock, and say: “Asalam Alikum.”
  3. Always be on time for class. Punctuality is very important.
  4. Be prepared for each class with appropriate materials and assignments e.g., your Qaida, Quran, books, notebook, pen/pencil etc.
  5. Always behave responsibly and use appropriate language.
  6. Follow directions the first time they are given.
  7. Do not eat in class.
  8. Dress modestly. Boys must wear Jubba and hat, Girls should wear a Jilbab & scarf in and around the Masjid, in class, and while praying.
  9. No cell phone use is allowed in class.
  10. Be respectful to everyone, including other students.

Notes:

Children who are also taking online classes, it is better for them to learn from one teacher. There may be conflict which is not good for child’s progress in learning of The Quran with Tajweed.

Every new pupil will be given a 2-week trial after which the parents can decide whether the class is suited for their child or not.

Transport with in the Cadishead & Irlam can be provided (depends on availability) to the child if parents struggling to pick up. But they should not be a routinely matter.

Quran and Qaida will be provided by the Masjed for a small charge. Which will go toward Masjed donations.

There will be lessons in Islamic studies, du’a memorisation, explanation of short surah’s and activities such as Islamic quiz and games.

Qaida = £3

Quran = £5

Islamic studies Syllabus will be provided by the Masjed.

Fees

Monthly fees per child are £10.00 and they must be paid in the first week of every month.
